Kate Middleton news: Duchess looks to Carole as ‘template’ on how to raise Royal children | Royal | News
Carole, 66, has been a major driving force in her life and has provided the Duchess with the perfect template of how to raise a young family. Royal author Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine: “Kate looks at Carole as a template for how she mothers her own children. The Middletons have always had a closeness and there’s really nothing they can’t discuss.
“Kate is mirroring that way of parenting.”
Carole founded her company Party Pieces in 1987 and developed it into a successful and profitable business.
She came across the idea after searching for “party stuff for my own children’s parties.”
Despite the demands placed on her through the business, Carole made sure that she always had time for her three children, Kate, 39, Pippa, 37, and James, 33.
It is an approach the Duchess has tried to replicate, as she strives to ensure that her family comes first, despite her official Royal role.
“One day in the future she’ll be Queen, but first and foremost she’s a mother,” Ms Nicholl explained.
The author of ‘Kate: The Future Queen’, added: “Kate knows the importance of a solid, dependable family.
“Her approach to parenting is far more Middleton than royal.
